Power Player Passport – Frequently Asked Questions

Event & Program Overview

Q: What is SunCast?
A: SunCast Media is an 11-year renewable energy media company with the #1 clean energy podcast, over 10 million annual reach, an audience of approximately 80,000, and a strong decision-maker following. SunCast has served as a main stage producer and executive content partner for RE+ and Intersolar.

Q: Why did you create the Power Player Passport?
A: Exhibitors consistently shared the same challenge: 'We're investing a lot in RE+, but we still struggle getting the right people to our booth.' The Passport was designed to solve that problem by creating more intentional attendee engagement.

Q: Is this the first year you've offered the Power Player Passport?
A: Yes. RE+ 2026 is the inaugural launch of the Power Player Passport, built upon SunCast Media's years of experience producing event content and engaging renewable energy audiences.

Q: Why a Passport instead of simply increasing booth traffic?
A: The objective isn't just more visitors. It's attracting qualified attendees, creating meaningful conversations, increasing repeat engagement, and generating measurable business results before, during, and after RE+.

Q: How many Passports will be available?
A: Approximately 5,000 Passports will be distributed.

Q: How many companies participate?
A: Participation is limited to 25 exhibitors to maintain exclusivity and value.

Q: Can competitors participate?
A: Yes. When possible, SunCast will separate competitors within the Passport layout. Distribution & Participation

Q: How do attendees receive a Passport?
A: Through exhibitor invitations, sales teams, SunCast marketing campaigns, podcast promotion, email, SMS, and conference distribution.

Q: How are the 5,000 Passports distributed?
A: SunCast promotes and distributes the Passport before and during RE+, while participating exhibitors also receive Passports to share with customers and prospects.

Q: Do attendees simply collect a stamp, or is there an action required?
A: Each exhibitor defines the required action, such as attending a demo, booking a meeting, joining a newsletter, participating in a presentation, or completing another meaningful activation.

Booth Experience & Engagement

Q: What kinds of activations work best?
A: Examples include product demonstrations, presentations, executive meet-and-greets, happy hours, procurement meetings, giveaways, customer appreciation events, engineering discussions, and new product launches.

Q: Can the Passport support our existing lead capture process?
A: Yes. It complements existing QR codes, CRM workflows, meeting schedulers, and marketing campaigns.

Q: Can exhibitors customize their Passport page?
A: Yes. Pages can include branding, QR codes, meeting links, featured sessions, product launches, and 'Can't Miss Moments.'

Q: Can exhibitors encourage attendees to return multiple times?
A: Yes. Multi-day presentations, interviews, giveaways, and scheduled activities encourage repeat visits.

Q: Can the Passport promote in-booth theaters or education sessions?
A: Yes. Passport pages can highlight scheduled presentations, demonstrations, and educational programming.

Q: Can it promote private meeting rooms or off-site events?
A: Yes. Companies can direct attendees to private meetings, hospitality events, customer receptions, or nearby meeting spaces. Leads, Data & Compliance

Q: How does attendee registration work?
A: Registration uses a progressive profile approach, collecting essential information first and additional details over time.

Q: Is the Passport TCPA compliant?
A: Yes. SMS consent is collected separately and attendees explicitly opt into communications.

Q: How do we capture participation?
A: Both QR codes and Passport stamps are used. QR codes capture data while Passport stamps create engagement and provide a backup.

Q: What attendee information do exhibitors receive?
A: Passport Partners receive booth visitor data. Elite Partners receive the full Passport attendee database.

ROI & Business Value

Q: How can exhibitors measure ROI?
A: Common metrics include qualified leads, meetings booked, newsletter subscribers, QR scans, repeat booth visits, content engagement, and post-event follow-up.

Q: What if we're already investing heavily in RE+?
A: The Passport amplifies existing investments by driving awareness before the show, increasing qualified conversations during the show, and extending engagement afterward.

Q: Will attendees only participate for the prizes?
A: No. Prizes encourage participation, but exhibitors control the booth activation. The objective is meaningful conversations, not random booth traffic.

Program Logistics

Q: Who handles logistics?
A: SunCast manages Passport production, stamps, QR codes, prizes, participation tracking, and attendee reporting, making the program very low touch for exhibitors.

Q: How are prize winners selected?
A: Attendees who complete the required Passport activities become eligible for prize drawings managed by SunCast. Exhibitors may also offer booth-specific giveaways.

Q: What sponsorship options are available?
A: The Base Passport includes 150 Passports, one text push, booth visitor data, and marketing exposure. The Elite Passport adds 250 Passports, two text pushes, the full attendee database, and a 'Know Before You Go' interview.

Q: When does the program finalize?
A: Invitations are currently being extended to 25 exhibitors, with the program expected to finalize before September production. Availability is limited, but no artificial pressure is applied.
